Lettered three years in football and one in track… helped team to state championship finals sophomore year and sectional title senior season… combined three-year team record was 29-7… completed 143-of-230 passes for 2,001 yards (166.8 yards per game avg.) and 24 touchdowns with five interceptions and a long reception of 56 yards, and rushed 142 times for 718 yards (5.1 yards per carry, 59.8 yards per game) with a long rush of 54 yards and scored 10 rushing touchdowns senior year… completed 115-of-213 for 1,508 yards (167.6 yards per game) and 18 touchdowns with seven interceptions and a long reception of 53 yards, and rushed 70 times for 406 yards (5.8 yards per carry, 45.1 yards per game) with a long rush of 57 yards and five touchdowns as a junior… completed 184-of-284 for 2,203 yards (169.5 yards per game avg.) and 27 touchdowns with seven interceptions and a long reception of 69 yards, and rushed 75 times for 182 yards (2.4 yards per carry, 14.0 yards per game) with a long rush of 25 yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore.
