Volleyball Game Day

ADMISSION

Students receive FREE admission to Volleyball games at Xtream Arena. Students can claim tickets online ahead of the game or present their student ID at the event.

Fans can purchase season or single game tickets here. General Admission season tickets will be $55 for adults and $35 for youth. Youth age is 18 and under.

Iowa will play USC and UCLA on Oct. 17 and Oct. 19 inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Ticket for those matches can be found here. Fans with a ticket to the Iowa-Penn State football game can present their ticket at either or both of Iowa's volleyball matches to gain free entry. Fans with a football ticket can also order their free tickets to the volleyball match in advance via this link.

Parking for events at Xtream Arena is recommended in the South Lot on the map below. If you park in an area outside of the South Lot, please obey any posted signage for that space.

XTREAM ARENA BAG POLICY

Xtream Arena will implement a clear bag policy for all ticketed events.  A clear 12” x 6” x 12” bag or smaller will be permitted as well as small clutch style purses or wallets. Patrons will be asked to return any bag that does not meet this criteria to their vehicle prior to entry. Diaper bags or medical bags are allowed to exceed that size limit, but will be searched. This policy is subject to change based on a show's request.

 

FAQ

Each game is split into sets that are played to 25 points. Games are played in a best of-of-five format. You can expect roughly 2 hours of game contest, music, entertainment, and even special theme nights which can be found in the promotion schedule.

Yes. Aramark is the proud exclusive concessionaire for Xtream Arena. Please note all concession stands at Xtreme Arena are cashless. Only credit/debit cards will be accepted. 

To ensure that all patrons have a pleasant game day experience, each patron should act responsibly and be considerate of others. Attendees should also be sensitive to the behavior of their guests. The following acts or types of behavior by any complex visitor, employee or patron will not be tolerated:

  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature.
  • Possessing and/or concealing a firearm, explosives or other weapons (weapons carried with permits are also prohibited).
  • Possessing or using illegal drugs.
  • Unreasonably obstructing the view of other patrons.
  • Fighting, taunting, or any action that may harm or endanger others.
  • Harassing or threatening other patrons, arena staff, players or game officials.
  • Projecting images onto players, coaches, officials, broadcast or network employees or other sideline personnel by aiming a laser pointer, spotlight or other such device at them.
  • Intoxication or other signs of alcohol and drug impairment that result in irresponsible behavior (intoxicated patrons will not be admitted to the arena).
  • Offensive language or obscene gestures, to include the use of such language or gestures concerning a persons race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin; or to instigate, incite or encourage a confrontation or physical assault.
  • Nudity; to include the removal of shirts and other items of apparel that may offend others.
  • Committing sexual acts or exhibiting lewd behavior.
  • Smoking or use of any kind of tobacco.
  • Liquor violations.
  • Underage consumption of alcohol.
  • Throwing objects.
  • Entering the courtside area or playing court (trespassing).
  • Failing to follow the instructions of arena personnel.
  • Any other acts or behavior that, in the judgement of Athletics Event Management, poses a threat to other patrons or diminishes their enjoyment of the game.

Whether or not certain types of behavior and/or acts are inappropriate or offensive to others may depend on ones perspective and values. Athletics Event Management reserves the right to deem an act or exhibited behavior to be inappropriate and to act accordingly. Fans who fail to comply with arena policies are subject to a warning, ejection or arrest. Acts such as fighting, being abusive to others, being intoxicated, throwing objects or committing other acts that may injure other patrons or disrupt the progress of the game may result in ejection and/or arrest without prior warning. Violations by patrons may result in the revocation of other ticket privileges.

We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light, as you may be subject to search, which includes metal-detecting hand wands upon entry. For safety reasons, prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Alcohol, drugs, illegal substances or any paraphernalia associated with drug use
  • Animals (except trained service animals and service animals in training for guests with disabilities)
  • Audio/Video recorders, professional cameras, tripods
  • Cans, bottles, coolers or other similar containers
  • Electronic cigarettes / vape pens inside facility
  • Fireworks
  • Flags/Signs with poles
  • Laptop Computers
  • Laser pens/pointers of any type
  • Noisemakers such as air horns
  • Outside food or beverages (except for medical purposes)
  • Oversized bags, backpacks, duffel bag
  • Pepper spray/Mace
  • Strollers/Baby Carriers
  • Umbrellas
  • Weapons of any type, including chains, knives, firearms and spiked jewelry (including permit to carry)
  • Any other item deemed unacceptable by event/building management


If an item is revealed during a search, patrons may dispose of the item or they may return the item to their vehicle. Xtream Arena & GreenState Family Fieldhouse does not safeguard any personal belongings or items of any type.
