Hawkeyes Conclude Play at Midwest Regionals

KALAMAZOO, MI -- The Iowa women’s tennis team concluded competition at the ITA Midwest Regionals, with freshman Meg Racette winning her first match. Racette emerged victorious against Illinois State’s Katri Miller, 6-3, 6-4. Racette went on to lost to Indiana’s Linda Tran, 6-3, 6-2. Hawkeye Hillary Mintz was defeated by Cristelle Grier of Northwestern, 6-1, 6-2.

The Hawkeyes will compete next at the Wisconsin Invitational Nov. 7-8.
