Iowa moved up two places in this week’s Bowl Championship Series list, coming in at No. 18 aftrer having registered a 40-22 victory over Minnesota last Saturday inside historic Kinnick Stadium.
The Hawkeyes travel to Madison, WI, this Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. date with the Wisconsin Badgers. The game will be televised live to a regional audience by ABC-TV
Iowa, 8-3 overall and 4-3 in Big Ten play, will be looking to improve its standing in the BCS and the post-season bowl game derby. The Hawkeyes are one of four Big Ten teams includes in this week’s elite list. Ohio State (2nd), Michigan (9th) and Purdue (16th) complete the list.

Iowa will be seeking win No. 9 Saturday when the Hawkeyes travel to Wisconsin for a 2:30 p.m. game with the Badgers. ABC-TV will provide live regional coverage of the game.

Oklahoma continued its hold on the No. 1 position. The Buckeyes displaced Southern Cal as the No. 2 team.
The Hawkeyes are the only Big Ten team with “Quality Win” points, having dealt Michigan its only conference loss of the season.
