University of Iowa gymnast Alexis Maday tied for fifth on floor at the NCAA individual event finals, held Saturday night. Maday scored a 9.8875 for the fifth-place finish.

This ends Maday’s collegiate career as the most decorated GymHawk in school history. Maday is a four-time all-Big Ten selection, three-time all-American, was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2001 and Big Ten Gymnast of the Year this season. She holds the school record on bars, floor and the all-around.
