Walnut, CA – The University of Iowa women’s track and field team qualified two events for the NCAA Regional Championships and won one event on the final day of competition at the Mt. SAC Relays on Sunday.

Seniors Shellene Williams and Michelle Lahann both qualified for the NCAA Regional Championships. Williams won the 400 meters with a qualifying time of 53.61 while Lahann placed 13th in 4:24.00. Junior Aisha Hume placed 16th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:11.27.

Iowa’s next competition is the 95th annual Drake Relays on April 22-24.
