MADISON, WI – The University of Iowa men’s golf team finished eighth at the 2004 Northern Intercollegiate on Sunday. The Hawkeyes finished with a team score of 888.
Luke Miller fired a four-over par 76 on the final day to finish tied for 18th overall. Miller finished with a three round total of four-over par 220. John Feldick tied for 20th with a five-over par 221. Feldick carded a one-over par 73 in Sunday’s round. Andy Tiedt finished tied for 37th place with a nine-over par 225. Brian DeBuhr and Todd Larson both finished the weekend with a 13-over par 229 to finish tied for 47th place.
Wisconsin finished first at their home course with a team score of two-under par 862. Garrett Chaussard of Illinois fired a one-over par 73 on Sunday to claim the individual championship with a three-round total of five-under par 211.
Iowa returns home to host the Hawkeye Intercollegiate on September 24-26.
