He was named the 2004 PGA Golf Professional of the Year for the Iowa PGA Section. The Iowa Golf Association also named him 1998 PGA Professional of the Year.
QUOTING COACH ANDERSON — “This is the final tournament of the fall season, and a win would take us into the off-season on a high note. Our entire roster is from Iowa, so there is a lot of pride on the line for us. We are also preparing for inclement weather and the chance that the meet could be cut short. Our plan is to get out, get the lead and keep building on it. There will be a lot of good players there and the field is wide open.”
