The 17th-ranked Iowa GymHawks finished sixth at the Super Six Challenge Friday. The GymHawks scored a team total of 190.725. Georgia won the meet with a 194.85.

Freshman Ally Zipse performed exceptionally well for her first collegiate meet, finishing 10th in the all-around (37.775). Zipse was also the GymHawks’ top finisher on floor, placing 19th with a 9.675.

Annie Rue also had a strong performance for Iowa. Rue was the top GymHawk finisher on vault and bars. She finished tied for 21st on vault (9.625) and tied for 14th on bars (9.750). On beam, Kortny Williamson tied for ninth, scoring a 9.725.

The GymHawks will compete next at Denver January 15. Competition will begin at 6 p.m.
