The University of Iowa men’s swimming team trails 14th-ranked Northwestern, 96-51, midway through the two-day dual meet.
Cameron Dye put in a strong performance for the Hawkeyes. In the 500 free, he finished second (4:42.73). Dye also placed third in the 100 free (47.8) and helped the Iowa `A’ team come in second in the 400 medley relay (3:31.88) and third in the 200 free relay (1:26.1). In the 200 breast, Dragos Agache finished second with a time of 2:05.42.
The Hawkeyes will finish competition tomorrow morning beginning at 10 a.m.
