Rue Looking to Make History

Senior Annie Rue could make Hawkeye history this weekend. Rue has the ability to become the first Iowa woman gymnast to compete in the NCAA Championships all four years. Rue competed at NCAAs as an individual her freshman year, and with the team her sophomore and junior years. In order for Rue to make it this year, the GymHawks will have to be one of the top two finishers at regionals, or Rue will need to be an event champion or one of the top two all-arounders.

GymHawk Titles

This season, the GymHawks have earned 11 individual event titles. Natalie Padilla leads the way with one floor and three vault titles. Danielle Legeai has two beam titles, while Kortny Williamson has a title each on vault and beam. Liz Grajewski has a floor title, while both Annie Rue and Romina Mazzoni have a bars title.
