IOWA CITY – Senior Lisa Birocci has been selected a third team Louisville Slugger/NFCA all-American. This is the second time in her career Birocci has been named an all-American.
Birocci posted a 29-9 record and led the team with 288 strikeouts this season. She also hit seven home runs and 17 RBI. The Des Moines, IA native finished her career as Iowa’s all-time career strikeout leader, fanning 946 batters in her four-year career.
