This marks the last competition for the Hawkeyes golfers this fall.

LINEUP — Competing for the Hawkeyes will be Jill Marcum, Melanie Boyles, Tyrette Metzendorf, Amy Riepma and Karla Murra.

LAST COMPETITION — Last week the Hawkeyes finished 11th at the Legends of Golf Shoot-Out in Franklin, IN. Iowa carded a 921 with a low round of 303. Freshman Tyrette Metzendorf led the Hawkeyes with a score of 221 (+5) to finish in a tie for ninth.

LADY RAZORBACK HISTORY — Last October Iowa finished 12th in the 18-team tournament. Then freshman Jill Marcum sank the tournament’s only hole-in-one on the 173-yard 17th hole.

QUOTING HEAD COACH Bobbe Carney — “We had a solid tournament last week. I do not think we have reached our potential yet and it would be nice to see that in the final tournament of the season. Our players have a lot going for them and hopefully everything will work out for the best.”
