THIS WEEK — The Iowa men’s golf team will compete at the Big Four Championships Monday October 24. Iowa will compete against Iowa State, Northern Iowa and Drake. The tournament will be held at Elmcrest County Club in Cedar Rapids, IA, and begin at 8 a.m. The golf course is par 70 and 6,382 yards long.
LAST TIME OUT — Iowa finished the Missouri Bluffs Intercollegiate in fifth place. The Hawkeyes have placed in the top-five in all four of their tournaments this season. Cole Peevler led Iowa with a 9th place finish carding a score of one-under-par.

PEEVLER LEADING HAWKS — Freshman Cole Peevler is listed as Iowa’s No. 1 golfer for the Big Four Championships. Peevler leads Iowa in average (70.8), low round (65), best finish (T2nd), top 20 finishes (4) and top 10 finishes (3). He also has Iowa’s best finish in the last three tournaments.
HEAD COACH Terry Anderson — Anderson is in his 13th year as Iowa’s head coach. Anderson was a four-year letterman at Iowa State. He also serves as the Director of Golf at Iowa’s Finkbine Golf Course. He was named the PGA Golf Professional of the Year for the Iowa PGA Section in 1998 and 2004.
