IOWA CITY, IA –

The fifth-ranked University of Iowa men’s gymnastics team fell to No. 2 Oklahoma Friday evening at the UI Fieldhouse. The final score was 212-206.650.

Michael Reavis came in first on the pommel horse (8.6), vault (9.4), parallel bars (8.8) and all-around (54.05). His first place scores in the all-around and vault were personal season bests.

On rings, Jacques Bouchard led the Hawkeyes with a score of 8.85 to come in fifth. Jake Becker placed third on vault (9.1) and seventh on pommel horse (8.0). Reid Vancelette placed fourth on vault (8.9), sixth on parallel bars (8.4) and sixth on floor exercise scoring 8.35. The Hawkeyes travel to Nebraska on Sunday to compete against the 14th-ranked Cornhuskers. Competition is set to begin at 2 p.m.
