Iowa Races In Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — The University of Iowa rowing team raced today on Lake Washington near the University of Washington campus. The Hawkeyes competed against crews from Washington, Washington State and Oregon State.

The Hawkeyes competed in two races today. In the women’s varsity eight, Iowa competed against three ranked boats and finished fourth (7:05.6). Iowa also finished fourth in the women’s junior varsity eight (7:22.6).

The Hawkeye rowers will be on the water again when they travel to Madison, WI, next Saturday to compete in a double dual versus Michigan State and Michigan.
