IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa softball team is now accepting applications for a student manager position for the 2006-07 year.
The student manager applicant must possess knowledge of softball/baseball as the position requires responsibilities during practices. In addition, the manager must have the ability to travel to all road contests throughout the year. Other responsibilities include set-up and break down of practice and video taping games. Both men and women are encouraged to apply.
Being a University of Iowa softball manager is a major time commitment. The year begins in September with fall practices and continues throughout the 2007 spring season. Practices are held 5-6 times per week in the afternoon during both the fall and spring semesters.
