IOWA CITY – The Iowa men’s golf team hosted day one of the Hawkeye Intercollegiate at Finkbine Golf Course Saturday. After 36 holes, the Hawkeyes are in first place with at team score of 582.
Junior Dan Holterhaus (E, 3rd) was the highest finisher for the Hawkeyes in day one. Senior Jon Feldick (+4, T11th), sophomore Cole Peevler (+5, T13th), senior Bennett Hammerberg (+8, T20) and junior Scot Glasford (+9, T22) rounded out Iowa’s team. Sophomore Zack Anderson (+11, T29) competed as an individual.
The Hawkeyes will play the final 18 holes of the Hawkeye Intercollegiate tomorrow. Play begins at 8:30 a.m. at Finkbine Golf Course.
