GREENVILLE, SC – The Iowa men’s golf team shot a 298 in the final round of the Furman Intercollegiate Sunday to finish in 16th place. Virginia Tech won the event with a team score of 873.
Senior Jon Feldick posted a 73 in the final round to lead the Hawkeyes by finishing the tournament tied for 12th. Junior Dan Holterhaus moved up 10 spots in Sunday’s competition to 29th and finished with a total score of 222. Senior Bennet Hammerberg finished tied for 84th with a total score of 232. Junior Adam Miller posted a 74 in the final round to end the tournament tied for 97th. Junior Scot Glasford rounded out the Hawkeye delegation tied for 99th with a total score of 237.
The Hawkeyes will return to action April 14-15 when they travel to Columbus, OH, to compete in the Kepler Intercollegiate.
