IOWA CITY –
The University of Iowa women’s track team recently earned all academic team honors from the National Collegiate Division I Track Coaches Association. The team posted a combined grade-point average of 3.17, which ranks 58th nationally. University of Arkansas Little Rock led all schools with a grade-point average of 3.610.
The Hawkeyes also had 13 student-athletes earn academic all-Big Ten recognition. The honorees include seniors Sarah Burgett, Becca Franklin, Tiffany Johnson, Aditya Jones, Monica Mims, Peaches Roach and Shannon Stanley, juniors Meghan Armstrong, Molly Esche, Tammilee Kerr and Jessica Schmidt, sophomores Krista Anderson and Renee White.
