The Iowa baseball team will host its second annual “Iowa Baseball Golf Outing” on September 7, at Saddleback Ridge Golf Course in Solon.
The format is a four-person best ball with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee of $100 per person or $400 per foursome includes green fees, range balls, cart, lunch and an appreciation gift. Flight prizes will be awarded and there will also be a raffle and silent auction. Proceeds will benefit the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Iowa baseball team.
Playing in the outing will be former Hawkeye baseball player Tim Costo, who will be inducted into the Iowa Athletic Hall of Fame later that evening.
