IOWA CITY, IA — The University of Iowa men’s track and field team is scheduled to host two clinics this winter.
The Hawkeyes will hold a coaches clinic for high school and middle school track and cross country coaches Jan. 19-20 at the University of Iowa Recreation Building in Iowa City. Featured speakers include members of the Hawkeye coaching and support staff and other area coaches. Cost of the clinic is $40 per coach or $150 per school for groups of up to five coaches.
Iowa will also hold a two-session throws clinic for coaches and co-ed student-athletes at the Iowa football bubble. The first session is Feb. 24 and the second is Mar. 9. Featured coaches will be Iowa Assistant Coach Scott Cappos, Illinois Coach Mike Turk, Iowa City Regina Coach Norm Balke and Iowa Strength Coach Damon Davis. Cost is $35 for one session and $60 for both sessions.
