LAS VEGAS, NV – Two members of the University of Iowa men’s gymnastics team competed in the Winter Cup Challenge on Thursday. Sophomore Jonathan Buese and freshman Ben Ketelsen competed for Iowa.
Ben Ketelsen competed in all six events at the competition. Ketelsen tied for 30th on vault, scoring 15.05. Jonathan Buese placed thirtieth on the horizontal bar with a final score of 13.60. Team Chevron had six first place finishes in the competition.
Iowa completed competition at the Winter Cup Challenge. The Hawkeyes return to action Feb. 16 against Oklahoma in Iowa City. Competition begins at 2 p.m. in the Fieldhouse.
