IOWA CITY, Iowa – – Perfect Game USA has ranked the 2011 Iowa baseball recruiting class the best in the Big Ten Conference. In addition, Perfect Game USA ranked the class No. 48 nationally and fourth-best in the Midwest.
The class includes standouts Nick Day, Andrew Hedrick, Nick Hibbing, Taylor Kaufman, Sasha Kuebel, Derrick Loveless, Ryan Rumpf, Eric Toole, Anthony Torres and Jake Yacinich.
“We are very excited about this year’s recruits,” said Head Coach Jack Dahm. “It’s nice to get some national recognition for our recruiting class. The honor is a credit to Coach (Ryan) Brownlee and (Chris) Maliszewski for all their hard work. Ultimately though, we need to get them on campus and continue their development.”
