IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa softball team will hold a Black and Grey Scrimmage on Saturday at Pearl Field from 12-2 p.m. The scrimmage is open to the public and admission is free.
The Hawkeyes, who are breaking in eight newcomers to the 2011-12 squad, posted a 6-2 record during their “fall ball” season.
Iowa will open its spring season at the Getterman Classic in Waco, Texas, on Feb. 10-13. The compete schedule will be announced later this fall.
