ORLANDO, Fla. — The University of Iowa women’s tennis team competed well in doubles at the final day of the UCF Invitational. The Hawkeyes posted a 3-1 record against Furman University. Ruth Seaborne and Morven McCulloch maintained a perfect doubles record.
Iowa matched up against the University of Central Florida for singles action. Annette Dohanics and Caitlin Hindmarsh picked up victories, while the rest of the Hawkeyes fell to three ranked opponents.
The Hawkeyes return to action on Jan. 26 against the Iowa State Cyclones in Ames, Iowa. Matches begin at 4:00 p.m.
