The clinic begins in the Feller Club Room in Carver-Hawkeye Arena in a classroom setting. Following registration and staff introductions, Hawkeye head coach Marla Looper will discuss the fundamentals of pitching, assistant coach Adrianna Baggetta will address the fundamentals of defense, and assistant coach Stacy May-Johnson will go over the fundamentals of offense.
After a break for lunch, the clinic will continue in the North Gym of the Field House with a strength and conditioning discussion led by UI softball’s own strength coach Landon Evans. Pitching drills with Looper, defensive drills with Baggetta, offensive drills with May-Johnson, and team defensive drills with Baggetta are scheduled to follow the strength and conditioning segment. The clinic concludes with a question and answer session.
