Hawkeyes Announce 2015 Schedule

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa director of track and field Joey Woody announced the 2015 indoor and outdoor schedules Wednesday.

The Woody era begins Jan. 10 at home when Iowa hosts Illinois and Missouri at the Iowa Duals at the UI Rec Building. The Hawkeyes close the indoor regular season at the Alex Wilson Invitational in South Bend, Indiana on Feb. 21. The Big Ten Indoor Championships are at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio, and the University of Arkansas hosts the NCAA Championships on March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The outdoor season opens March 20-21 at the Baldy Castillo Invite in Tempe, Arizona. The Hawkeyes then compete at the Stanford Invitational, Florida Relays, and Mt. Sac Relays before returning to Iowa for the 106th annual Drake Relays in Des Moines on April 22-26. The Hawkeyes close the regular season hosting the 16th annual Musco Twilight on May 2.

Michigan State University hosts the Big Ten Outdoor Championships on May 15-17. The NCAA Regional Championships is May 28-30 in Austin, Texas, and the final round of the NCAA Championships return to Eugene, Oregon, on June 10-13.
