IOWA CITY, Iowa – – The University of Iowa women’s tennis team is set to conclude their fall season at the Western Michigan Bronco Invitational in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The tournament will run Friday through Sunday at the West Hills Athletic Club.
“I’m looking forward to this weekend to gauge how much progress we’ve made this fall. We’ve had a great week of practice and we’ll get to look at a couple new doubles teams,” said UI head coach Katie Dougherty. “We’re looking forward to competing against some strong competition and finishing the fall on a high note.”
The entire Hawkeye squad is set to travel to the invitational. Montana Crawford and Carin Runefelt are coming off a strong 2-1 doubles performance at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic last week.
Other tournament participants include Western Michigan, Indiana, Louisville, and Marquette.
Tournament action begins Friday at 10 a.m. (CT).
