2020 Honors — Academic All-Big Ten selection… named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester. 2020 — Season canceled by Big Ten Conference and NCAA on March 12 due to concerns of coronavirus (COVID-19)… started all 15 games — eight in center and seven in right field — and 75 straight games dating back to 2018 season… Iowa’s leadoff hitter… hit .295 (18-of-61) with 18 runs and six RBIs… hit safely in 12 games with three multi-hit contests… was 5-for-5 in stolen base attempts… tied for third in the Big Ten in runs (18), tied for eighth in steals (5), and tied for 10th in walks (11)… went 2-for-4 with two runs in a 8-0 win over Kansas (3/10)… tied two school records against Georgetown (3/7), walking four times and scoring five runs in the 22-2 win… went 3-for-4 with two runs against Western Michigan (3/6)… had his fifth career triple at San Diego State (2/21)… tied a career high, going 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBIs, and two steals in a 7-2 win over Saint Joseph’s (2/16) on his 22nd birthday.

2019 — Only Hawkeye to start all 55 games — 18 in right field, 29 in center field, and eight in left field… hit .251 (52-of-207) with six home runs, 12 doubles, 34 RBIs, and 33 runs… had 12 multi-hit games (five 2-hit, seven 3-hit)… tied for eighth in the Big Ten in steals (14)… in Big Ten games, tied for eighth in runs (18)… tallied his seventh three-hit game of the season, going 3-for-4 with a steal against Minnesota (5/24) in Big Ten Tournament… finished 1-for-3 with two runs scored in Big Ten Tournament win over No. 21 Indiana (5/22)… went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in series opener at Maryland (5/16)… had two doubles, finishing 2-for-4 in game two against Michigan State (5/11)… went 3-for-6 with a three-run home run and double and three runs scored in Iowa’s series-clinching win over No. 30 Nebraska (4/20)… finished 2-for-4 and tied a career-high with four RBIs in game one win at Purdue (4/12)… hit his fifth home run and drove in a pair in series finale (4/13)… went 3-for-4 with a double and run scored against Bradley (3/26)… hit his fourth home run at Indiana (3/23), finishing 1-for-4… went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI against Simpson College (3/19)… went 3-for-5 with two steals in game two against Cal State Northridge (3/17)… hit his third homer at Evansville (3/9), going 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs… went 3-for-5 with three runs and three RBIs at Hawaii (2/24)… hit a two-run home run and had a double and steal… had a career day against Pittsburgh (2/16), finishing 3-for-4 with a home run and a career-high four RBIs, while tying career bests of three runs scored and two stolen bases.

2018 — Started 29 games — 22 in left field, six in center field, and once as designated hitter… hit safely in 16 games and reached base safely in 26 contests… hit .189 with 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored… had three triples on the season, which were tied for fifth in the Big Ten… hit a go-ahead RBI double in the eighth inning in Iowa’s 3-1 victory over Penn State (5/17)… finished 3-for-5 with a double and tied a career-high with three RBIs at Northwestern (5/13)… tallied his first two-hit game of the season in Iowa’s 7-1 win at Nebraska (4/13)… finished 2-for-5 with a double and run scored… became the first Hawkeye since 2014 to triple in consecutive games (at UAB)… had the a walk-off, two-run single in Iowa’s 4-3 victory over Toledo (2/16) in the season opener… reached on an E5, allowing the game-winning run to score in the walk-off victory against Virginia Tech (2/23).

at World University Games (2017) — Started six games in center field… hit safely in three contests… went 2-for-5 with three RBIs against Russia (8/22) and 2-for-5 in win over Korea (8/26).

2017 Honors — Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American. 2017 — Hit .296 with 34 runs and 20 RBIs… had 12 doubles, one triple, and one home run… Iowa’s top base stealer with 14 swipes in 19 chances… tied for 11th in the Big Ten in steals… hit safely in 35 games with 18 multi-hit games (11 two-hit, six three-hit, and one four-hit)… started 56 games — 55 in center field and one in left field… hit a team-best .600 (6-of-10) with two doubles, two runs, and an RBI in three NCAA Regional contests… went 2-for-4 with three RBIs in the Big Ten Tournament title game against Northwestern (5/28)… had his first career triple against Omaha (5/16), finishing 2-for-3 with a run scored in the come-from-behind victory… had a career-high four hits, finishing 4-for-6 with two doubles and two RBIs in series finale at Kansas State… had the game-winning RBI double in the 10th inning… named to the DQ Classic All-Tournament team after hitting .500 (6-of-12) with three RBIs, three steals, and two runs scored… shared the batting title at DQ Classic with .500 average.

High School — Ranked  No. 429 nationally by Perfect Game and as the No. 1 outfielder in Iowa and No. 6 prospect in the state overall… three-time all-conference honoree, earning first-team honors as a junior and senior, second-team as a sophomore… two-time first-team all-district… 2015 Underclass High Honorable Mention by Perfect Game… hit .386 with 24 RBIs and 29 steals as a senior… the 29 steals are a school record… hit .331 with eight doubles and two triples as a junior with 29 runs, 10 RBIs and 13 steals… helped team to a conference title and third-place Class 4A state finish in 2016… played on Perfect Game Iowa Select Black in 2015 and Perfect Game Select Roal in 2014… also was a starter and three-year varsity letterwinner in basketball… member of National Honor Society and Principal’s List, carryied a 4.06 GPA… high school coach was Chris Miller… club coach was Steve James.

Personal — Born Feb. 15, 1998… son of Tom and Sarah Norman, both UI graduates… father played basketball at Iowa… has three older siblings, Sam, Riley, and Allie… older brother, Sam, pitched for the Iowa baseball team in 2017 and sister, Riley, played basketball at Creighton… uncle, John Bowlsby, wrestled at Iowa… uncle, Ron Norman played basketball at Iowa… uncle, Bob Bowlsby, is Iowa’s former director of athletics… majoring in enterprise leadership.
