IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa rowing program hosts North Park University on Saturday in an exhibition competition on the Iowa River. The teams will start racing mid-morning.
North Park University and the Hawkeyes were scheduled to compete in the Head of Des Moines on Saturday before high waters cancelled the event.
Saturday’s exhibition race will feature mostly members of the Hawkeyes’ novice crew. The remainder of the Iowa crews will open their fall season Oct. 7-8 in Bloomington, Indiana.
