Iowa Softball Hosts DMACC in Fall Contest

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa softball team opens the fall portion of its schedule Friday, hosting Des Moines Area Community College at 5 p.m. (CT) at Pearl Field. Admission to all fall games is free.
 
This is the first of six fall games the Hawkeyes host at Pearl Field. All games will be nine innings, with the exception of the doubleheader matchup with Northern Illinois on Oct. 8. The doubleheader will feature two seven-inning games, with first pitch at 1 p.m.
