IOWA CITY, Iowa — The Iowa Open Track and Field meet, scheduled for Feb. 17, has been cancelled. The announcement was made by the UI Athletics Department on Wednesday. The meet will not be rescheduled.
The team is still scheduled to compete in the Alex Wilson Invitational in South Bend, Indiana, on the same day.
The Hawkeyes open the indoor season Jan. 13, hosting the Hawkeye Invitational. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. (CT) with throwing events. Admission to the event is free.
