QUOTING RACHEL FUJITANI
“Maridoe Country Club was a great test that challenged both mental and physical conditions.  I was able to hit fairways and greens during the first round which I think is key while playing this course. The wind kicked in the final day and although I struggled a bit more finding fairways and greens, I continued to push forward.  I’m very proud of my team.  I think they adjusted very well with today’s conditions.  We are just preparing day by day for Big Tens.”

UP NEXT
Due to forecasted weather in the Iowa City area this weekend, Iowa’s meet against Bradley has been canceled.  The Hawkeyes will travel to Cincinnati, Ohio, to compete in the Big Ten Championships on April 20-22.
