Brown, Guillory to Compete at NACAC Championships

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa track and field athletes Brittany Brown and Briana Guillory head to Toronto, Canada to compete Friday and Sunday at the 2018 North America, Central America and Caribbean Senior Championships. 

The Hawkeye All-Americans qualified for the 2018 NACAC Championships at the 2018 USA Outdoor Championships. Guillory set the school record in the 400-meter dash (51:30) and will compete on Team USA’s 1,600-meter relay. Brown competes in the 200 meters after breaking into the world top-20 with a time of 22.416. 

The 200-meter semifinals begin Friday at 7:40 p.m. (CT). The finals are Sunday at 1 p.m. The 1,600-meter relay finals begins Sunday at 3:10 p.m.
