Iowa City, Iowa – Lea Zeitler has signed a National Letter of Intent to play golf at the University of Iowa, UI head coach Megan Menzel announced on Wednesday.
“Lea is a strong addition to our 2019 class,” Menzel said. “She will be an impact player for the Hawkeyes next year and brings a wealth of international playing experience and maturity. We are happy that she felt like Iowa was home on her visit. Lea’s strong work ethic and competitive mindset will be a great addition to our young roster.”
Zeitler is a native of Fiecht/Mieming Tyrol, Austria, and attends high school at Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium für Berufstätige. She joins the 2019 class along with Morgan Goldstein, Jacquelyn Galloway, and Lilly Gentzkow.
