PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico – Senior Kristin Glesne paced the University of Iowa women’s golf team in the final round of the Hawkeye-El Tigre Invitational. Glesne notched a personal-best, 18-hole score of 68 (-4) on Saturday.

Arizona repeated as Hawkeye El-Tigre Invitational Champions after posting a three-round total of 854 (-10).Fresno State and Kennesaw State tied for second with 54-hole totals of 890 (+26). Iowa finished 10th with a 54-hole total of 911 (+47).

GLESNE’S B1G DAY
Senior Kristin Glesne tied for 26th after recording a three-round score of 226 (+10). Glesne carded six birdies en-route to a personal-best, 18-hole score of 68 (-4) in the third round. Glesne jumped up 25 spots on the leaderboard during the final day.
 
Freshman Manuela Lizarazu and sophomore Brett Permann tied for 33rd after posting 54-hole scores of 228 (+12). Lizarazu registered four birdies in the second round. Permann utilized three birdies on the back nine in the third round to finish three-over-par. 
 
Sophomore Stephaine Herzog finished 53rd after shooting 235 (+19) through three rounds.
 
Freshman Dana Lerner tied for 54th. She utilized three birdies on the back nine to finish the first round two-over-par. 

INDIVIDUALLY SPEAKING
Senior Shawn Rennegarbe climbed up two spots on the leaderboard during the final day. Rennegarbe finished the last two rounds four-over-par, tying for 54th along with Lerner. Sophomore Annalee Danneger registered a personal-best, 18-hole score of 76 (+4) on Saturday. Dannegger utilized two birdies in the third round to finish 60th. Junior Sophie Liu carded her best score of the tournament in the third round. Liu finished five-over-par and climbed up four spots on the leaderboard, tying for 62nd.
