IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa rowers Contessa Harold (first team), Hunter Koenigsfeld (second team), and Hannah Greenlee (honorable mention) have been named Collegiate Rowers Coaches Association (CRCA) All-Americans for the 2019 season.

The Pocock All-America awards recognize the outstanding performances of rowers and coxswains on the nation level in women’s collegiate rowing. Nominated student-athletes are selected based on the strength of finish of the institution’s varsity eight within the country, coach comments, and 2k erg score.

Iowa earned multiple All-American honors for the second straight season after naming three in 2018. Harold and Koenigsfeld were named All-Americans for the second straight season, while Greenlee earns her first nod in her career.

Of Iowa’s 11 All-Americans in program history, nine have been named under head coach Andrew Carter.

The three rowers helped Iowa to a third place finish in the varsity eight at the Big Ten Championships and a 13th-place team finish at the NCAA Championships on June 2.
