HEARING FROM LISA CELLUCCI
On the first half…
“We told them to breathe and stay composed because we were pressing a little too much, trying to finish. We just needed to have more poise with our attack and be smarter. We struggled today with our penalty corners, which is something we usually count on. We knew the goals would come if we just continued to follow the game plan, and that was to be connected and to create together. The goals finally came.”

On the teams’ shots on goal…
“It’s all about our ability to build the ball forward, starting from our midfield. We move the ball extremely well as a team. Now, we have to be able to finish in the final third. Today, we pressed a little and rushed. We need to allow the play to develop, and if we do that, we’ll be in a much better spot.”

NOTABLES
Five Hawkeyes (Lokke Stribos, Katie Birch, Maddy Murphy, Sofie Stribos, Sophie Sunderland) now have multiple goals on the season. Sunderland leads the team with four.

Katie Birch leads the team in assists (5), followed by Maddy Murhpy and Meghan Conroy (2).
