IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa baseball fans can get season tickets at a special Black Friday price.
Discounted season tickets for the 2020 season — a slate featuring 23 home game at Duane Banks Field — will go on sale Friday and be available through Dec. 31 at a special rate of $60. Prices will return to $75 on Jan. 1. (Kids season tickets remain $40.)
Hawkeye fans can also get a discount on “30-block” season tickets for $80 (regularly $99) from Nov. 29-Dec. 31. These tickets can be used at any game or combination of games throughout the season.
Single-game tickets will be $7 for adults and $3 for kids with Tuesday and Wednesday game tickets being $2.
Iowa’s home opener is set for March 3 against Grand View before welcoming Kansas to Banks for a two-game midweek series on March 10-11.
The Hawkeyes will host three-game series against St. Mary’s (Calif.), Purdue, Maryland, Minnesota, and Northwestern.
Iowa is 91-27 at home since the start of the 2015 season, including winning 20 games last season — the second most in a single season in program history. The Hawkeyes return five starters and two starting pitchers in 2020 from a team that won 31 games.
The Hawkeyes will open the regular season Feb. 14, facing Kent State at the Snowbird Baseball Classic in Punta Gorda, Florida.
