Spencer Lee Advances to Finals at U.S. Senior Nationals

FORT WORTH, Texas — University of Iowa junior Spencer Lee recorded four technical falls and outscored his opponents 44-4 on Saturday to advance to the 57 kg finals of the 2019 United States Senior Nationals in Fort Worth, Texas.

Lee won his first three matches by identical 10-0 scores. He then defeated Vitali Arujan, 14-4, in the semis to reach the finals of his first career senior level tournament. He will face Nathan Tomasello in the finals Sunday at 4 p.m. (CT).
