Hawkeyes Prepped for Princess/Superhero Day

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa Women’s gymnastics team hosts West Virginia University on Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m. (CT) for Superhero/Princess Day.
 
Carver-Hawkeye Arena will be split between north and south for Superhero and Princess stations. The kids’ zone will have face paint, beam, and a craft and coloring station for kids to visit prior to the meet. Doors open one hour prior to meet.
 
“Some of our favorite moments from last year were seeing the junior heroes who dressed up in their favorite superhero costume to get pics with us,” said Matt Matrix, who has attended the meet in the past. “We always recommend this event to all our friends,” Matrix said. “Join us to see some of the most super athletics from Iowa Gymnastics.”
 
Tickets are available at hawkeyesports.com/tickets, by calling 1-800-IAHAWKS, or at the UI Athletics Ticket Office at the north entrance of Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Adult tickets are $10. Youth (18 and under) and UI students receive free admission to all regular season home meets
