Eierman Places Fifth at U.S. Senior Nationals

CORALVILLE, Iowa — University of Iowa senior Jaydin Eierman split a pair of matches Sunday to place fifth at the 2020 U.S. Senior Nationals at Xtream Arena.

Eierman, seeded No. 2 at 65 kg, pinned No. 7 Matthew Kolodzik in one minute, nine seconds in the fifth-place match. He was bounced to the fifth-place match following a 10-0 loss to No. 1 Joey McKenna in the consolation semifinals.

Eierman finished the two-day tournament 5-2 overall with two technical falls and a pair of pins. He returns to action Nov. 1 when the Hawkeye Wrestling Club hosts the HWC Showdown Open live on TrackWrestling.
