Eight Hawkeyes Named NFCA All-American Scholar-Athletes

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Eight University of Iowa softball student-athletes earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2020-21 academic year.

Current student-athletes Grace Banes, Kate Claypool, Zoe Schulte, Riley Sheehy and former Hawkeyes Allison Doocy, Aralee Bogar, Avery Guy, and Ashley Hamilton each earned the distinction with a 3.5-or-higher GPA.

The Hawkeyes continue their fall season at Bob Pearl Field against Kirkwood Community College at 5 p.m. (CT) on Oct. 8.
