MADISON, Wis. — The University of Iowa women’s divers opened competition at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships on Monday at the Soderholm Family Aquatic Center.
Senior Sam Tamborski and freshman Makayla Hughbanks both competed on the 1-meter springboard event. Tamborski placed 27th in the preliminary round, scoring a 252.45, while Hughbanks was 34th with a 232.65.
Tuesday will consist of the preliminary and final rounds of the women’s 3-meter springboards. Competition is set to begin at 11 am (CT).
