THE FIELD

THE COURSE
English Turn Golf and Country Club, which is located in the heart of New Orleans, received a 4 1/2 star review from Golf Digest and is the premier course of the New Orleans area. This course features a challenging design with undulating greens and sloping grass swales throughout all 6,326 yards and 18 holes. The signature 15th hole is a difficult par five with an island green to finish it off. The course was designed by the Jack Nicklaus in 1988.

UNDERCLASSMEN LEAD THE WAY
The Hawkeyes top-four performers this season are all underclassmen in freshmen Riley Lewis, Shannyn Vogler and Madison Dabagia and sophomore Paula Miranda.
• Lewis led the team with a 74.77 scoring average over nine rounds during the fall season. She tied for 15th at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate with a 216. It was the team’s highest finish of the fall.
• Vogler posted a 75.48 scoring average over 11.5 rounds and she tied for 16th at the Badger Invitational. Miranda had a 75.74 average over 11.5 rounds and Dabagia had a 76.70 scoring clip over 11.5 rounds.

The Hawkeyes have six spring tournaments this season before they head to Pittsburgh for the 2023 Big Ten Championship. Over the next two months the team will compete in Louisiana, Arizona, Florida, South Carolina, California and Ohio before postseason play begins.
