IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa junior guard Caitlin Clark was named to the Dawn Staley Award Late Season Watch List on Monday. Clark has won the Dawn Staley Point Guard of the Year award twice in her career.
This season, Clark is the only player in the nation with more than 680 points, 190 rebounds, 200 assists, and 40 steals. She has registered +25 points, +5 rebounds, and +5 assists in 13 games this year and 35 times in her career which is the most in NCAA women’s basketball history. Clark is leading the Hawkeyes with 27.6 ppg, 7.6 rpg, and 8.3 apg. Clark also leads the country in triple-doubles. (3)
This week, Clark registered a pair of double-doubles against No. 2 Indiana and Rutgers in route to the Big Ten Conference placing her on the honor roll for their weekly awards.
The West Des Moines, Iowa, native also was recognized as Big Ten Player of the Year and was a Naismith and Wooden Award finalist in 2022.
