LAS VEGAS – University of Iowa senior Mac McClear completed 54 holes competing as an individual at NCAA Regionals at Bear’s Best Las Vegas Golf Course.
McClear entered as the second-seeded individual in the Las Vegas regional. The field of teams includes No. 4 Arizona State, No. 6 Stanford, No. 20 Oklahoma State, No. 32 Northwestern, No. 35 East Tennessee State, No. 40 San Francisco, No. 42 Cincinnati, Davidson, Kansas City, Lehigh, Long Beach State, UNC Greensboro and Oregon State.
McClear drilled five birdies and an eagle on Wednesday, finishing the round three under par (69) to bring his score to 211 (-5) through three rounds at Bear’s Best.
