STATE COLLEGE, Penn. – University of Iowa women’s wrestling Marlynne Deede competed at the NWCA All-Star Classic on Tuesday in Rec Hall on the campus of Penn State.
Top-ranked (NCAA) Deede defeated Top-ranked (NAIA) Latifah McBryde of Life University via decision, 8-3.
The meet is an exhibition event and the results do not count on any wrestlers NCAA record form or toward the season’s RPI.
The Hawkeyes return to action on Sunday December 9 as they travel to Naperville, Ill. for the North Central College Invitational.
