IOWA CITY, Iowa – Sunday’s University of Iowa men’s basketball regular season finale against No. 12 Illinois has reached sellout status. It is the second sellout in three home contests.
The game, which will tipoff at 6:10 p.m. (CT) on Mediacom Court inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, will be televised nationally on FS1. It will be a rematch of the Feb. 24 game in Champaign, which the Fighting Illini won, 95-85.
Fans are encouraged to wear gold clothing to the game to “Gold Out” Carver.
Prior to the game, Iowa will hold Senior Night festivities, honoring Jovone Cater, Ben Krikke, Patrick McCaffery and Tony Perkins, along with student manager Jackson McLaughlin.
Iowa is 18-12 overall and 10-9 in Big Ten play.
